The Da Vinci Code, the da vinci code bal.. bla.. bla

WTF?

whats all this talk and commotion about the da vinci code about? the book is overrated, and when the surge was dying down i thought i could breath a sigh of relief. I mean come on, it is badly written, literally, and the ideas in the book are not even new (doesnt anyone read books like from say, umberto eco?) and then all the hype, all the copies being sold? and now the movie. gimme a break, if you see me, dont start philosophing the da vinci code. i know it feeds on interest, but there are other things at hand.

the sun is out. yes, it is, and if you think thats no big deal, let me tell you it IS. god, prolonged gloomy weather is just as bad as having mtv on running for hours (the latter is of course, being worse, and more hazardous.) But yesterday evening, the sun peeked out and today, it has been shining so far, which makes me look forward to the jazz rally in old town. i havent even checked out the line-up yet but i thought i might just surprise myself.
and yesterday evening, we were walking along the rheine and through the media harbour of düsseldorf. after the japanese "stammtisch", which was also nice, the wind was aggressive, but the company was extremely well. the sights too, düsseldorf can be sometimes a tad too chic but when no snobs are around it is a very tolerable city (esp at night).
and we walked and walked till my feet sored. and then we walked and walked again. but then i had a good talk with yustina, that was good. and to see the baka and aho back on good terms again, that was good. so it was good. but the fucking atm had to swallow my card!
so now i am thinking about the fundamentals of choices. the freedom, the necessasity, and the constraints. it is really all a big stew. at the moment i am looking for:

a job

and a new apartement where i can move in with dumb and dumber.

wish me luck.

oh, an interesting movie, not new, that i saw on the seminar the other day : lost highway by david lynch. our lecturer stopped, like 0,02 seconds before the climax, and said see you in 3 weeks! (OMG) whats with the new-speak today? you'll ask?
goodbye, have a nice whitsun, if they even say that.
