Think of a repetition, a loop, repeating once,
and think of it infinitely
whether once or none, or infinitely, first we must draw the differences.
and consider one of those as the very basis in which we strife to define our life as an individual.
do we look at the things we do? look at the things we look at? look at how others look at us?
and what can take into consideration? feelings vague and mostly untold or not understood? what we call feelings?
and suddenly, winter has arrived, unannounced, or have i kept my ears shut.
does something has a hollow heart, when the components it is made up of has no purpose in the core?
whatever it is the centre is felt, empty.
can we define that under 'infinity', or 'ever-lasting'?

jim o'rourke, the year of, terry riley. they seem to want to convey something about repetitions.

in a sense it does not have a direct participation, it is the erasing factor, but also, as infinity is also time, the catalyst, the basic ingredient, which pushes what you call individual life, on a larger scale, a collected identity into the past, the oblivion.
and what you call difference, in what way different? do you mean like she eats apple, but i orange? or that she thinks swinburne is poetry and others porn?
i like to think of milan kundera's idea "einmal ist keinmal" (once is never, loosely translated) and in that sense all the "individuals" that you claim, that without the collectiveness through time, which runs through infinity, the difference wasn't there infinitely.
and an 'individual life' has ultimately no hope of infinity, because it is only one of the singular, the result of infinity.

but that does not mean we should shun from individuality, but i would not post it as a punchline.
